The business unit EMS-GRILTECH is part of EMS-CHEMIE AG which belongs to the EMS-CHEMIE HOLDING AG.
We manufacture and sell Grilon, Nexylon and Nexylene fibers, Griltex hotmelt adhesives, Grilbond adhesion promoters, Primid crosslinkers for powder-coatings and Grilonit reactive diluents. We have developed these materials and additives into excellent specialty products for technically demanding applications. In this way we create added value for our customers as they can also only be successful with continual improvements.
At the SPE Automotive Award Night of the Society of Plastics Engineers, EMS-GRILTECH achieved an outstanding success: The company was named overall winner of the Automotive Awards 2025 and presented with the coveted Grand Award. The award was won for a textile interior application made using Grilon yarn and combining innovation, sustainability and freedom of design.
