Paper machine felts are a key component in paper manufacturing. They stabilize the wet paper web in the press section of the machine and ensure that water is efficiently pressed out of the paper. EMS-GRILTECH supplies the high-performance fibers used to manufacture these felts.
For over 30 years, EMS has been developing innovative fiber solutions, including bicomponent fibers made of polyamide and newly developed TPU fibers made of thermoplastic polyurethane. Paper machine felts manufactured with EMS fibers are characterized by high abrasion resistance, elasticity, and dimensional stability.
